066. Take a defining picture for each month of 2009 (February). [02/12]

Dream On, Dream On, Dream Until, Your Dream Comes True.
February was golden. After five long months on lay-away, I finally bought my new bass: a 1978 Gibson RD Standard I call Boudica (or Boo for short). I’ve been practicing a lot…fingertips are toughening up, and moving faster up and down the fretboard. Conquering new songs, both by following in others’ footsteps and using my own ears. It’s tough, but I love it. I’d missed it so much. It’s slow going; I’m no virtuoso. But I believe I can do this.

066. Take a defining picture for each month of 2009 (January). [01/12]
Stop……worrying.…panicking.…freaking out.…hiding. …crying. …being so sad.…thinking you’re alone.
January was intense. I started a new job that completely overwhelmed me, and I seriously considered running back to Australia because I didn’t think I could cope. Snapped this on my way back to my place after a hard day…kind of apt.
